Our Work on Boots appointments are one-on-one sessions focused on customizing and fine-tuning your existing ski boots. Whether it’s shell stretching, liner molding or solving various pains and pressure points, our bootfitters are there to tailor the fit to your unique foot shape and skiing style.

This appointment is with Joel Desgreniers, trained physiotherapist and SkiUphill's co-owner. Hourly rate for advanced bootfitting is $150 per hour.

If you have complicated issues that haven’t been fixed by other bootfitters, complex previous injuries, or very specific performance needs, this appointment is for you. Our advanced bootfitting sessions are tailored for skiers who need extra attention, whether you’re dealing with chronic pressure points, alignment problems, post-surgery changes, or unique biomechanics. You’ll work one-on-one with Joel who will take the time to analyze your stance, foot shape, and movement patterns to find lasting solutions.

If you’re not sure where to start your boot search, this is the best place to begin. This one-on-one session with physiotherapist and expert bootfitter Joel Desgreniers focuses on understanding you before the gear. Joel performs a detailed assessment of your feet, stance, mobility, and skiing mechanics to identify what type of boot and fit will best support your movement patterns.

You’ll leave with clear, personalized recommendations and a solid understanding of what to look for when it’s time to shop — whether you continue with us or elsewhere.

I had a bootfitting appointment today. Joel was able to fix and adjust my boots to be more comfortable and fit properly to my feet. It was the right move to go seek professional help before buying new boots and possibly having the same problem. Huge thanks to everyone at the store.

The folks at SkiUphill have been nothing but helpful every time I've popped into the store, whether it's a binding mount on a new set of skis, purchasing items (they were kind enough to trim a pair of skins to fit to skis), helping a friend get their boots to fit better, or a skin reglue. I recently had some last minute skin glue failure before a four week trip to Japan and they were able to squeeze a reglue in with some other Pomoca skins that needed rehousing. I was able to pick up my skins just before hopping on the bus to catch the flight!
